Internship Opportunity Marketing & Communications Chair-ity (Nonprofit Organization)

Location: HYBRID– (location) Cleveland Warehouse/Office (Asiatown) (Remote & In-Person) 

Start Date: Flexible  (in May 2026) 

Hours: Flexible- will accommodate college students’ schedule Compensation: Unpaid About Chair-ity Our mission is to eliminate the financial and emotional barriers for youth impacted by foster care who are beginning independent living. We do so by providing and delivering furniture and household goods at no cost to these young adults, turning their house into a home.  Internship Overview  Hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, marketing, communications, journalism, and design. Interns play a vital role in supporting Chair-ity’s mission by assisting with storytelling through interviews and social media.  

Requirements ● Compassion for those impacted by the foster care system ● Self starter ● Interest in the nonprofit sector/foster care system ● 18 years or older and currently enrolled or a graduate of a college or university ● Ability to edit videos ● Experience with Canva Intern Responsibilities:  ● Create flyers and promotional materials for fundraising events ● Conduct and edit interviews with young adults after furniture deliveries ● Develop engaging social media content to highlight events and success stories
